Natural mask for glowing skin

Everyone skin is different, so it is important to find out what works for you! Yet regardless of your skin type and unless of have food allergies, the list of produces below is all natural- That is great because you can do your food shopping and keep a tiny portions of the ingredients for your skincare routine! The goal is to detox your body/ face in and out. Depending on what your complexion needs, here are two easy masks to do just that at-home:


Scrub and clear

If you suffer from hyperpigmentation or uneven skin tones this will be a miracle. The coffee smoothes the skin and gives it a nice after tone while the honey plays as antibacterial/ anti-inflammatory and the aloe vera lighten the pigmentation.

 1. Smash two big strawberries  in a small bowl as it is the base for face mask.

2. Stir in one tablespoon of Ethiopian coffee, two tablespoon aloe vera jelly, and one tablespoon honey.

3. When the mixture is even apply the mask to your clean, dry skin and gently massage in rotation. Leave on for 10 minutes.

4. Wash off with warm water, then moisturise as per usual or apply hydrating mask below.


Hydrating and nourishing

Avocado is extremely hydrating and papaya is known to be a superfood in and out of the body!

1. Blend together 1/2 cucumber, half an avocado and 1/2 papaya. Keep two cucumbers slice to rest your eyelid while the mask is working its magic.

2. Gently massage the mixture over your face to get all the benefits soaked in your skin. Leave for 15-20 minutes.

3.Rinse the mask off with lukewarm water, and clear your face dry with a soft towel.

4.If your skin needs healing or if you have scars on your face, finish your treatment by applying a mix of coconut and rose hip oil on your face- Just so you get another moisturising layer protecting your epidermis!
