The breakfast good to your skin

Acai is a dark purple berry coming from Brazil, usually grown around the amazon river. It is not a very sweet fruit with a taste between wild berries, chocolate and soil! Rich in protein , antioxidants and with high levels of heart healthy fats, acai is considered a superfood. Highly recommended to start your day as to give your body an anti-aging boost! Recipe below.

acai bowl dragon fruit, banana chia seeds

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100ml coconut or oat milk

  • 1 bag of frozen acai OR 100g cup frozen blueberries + 50g of (frozen) peach

  • 2 sticky dates

  • 5g Cinnamon or cardamom powder

  • Chia seeds or flax seeds

  • 1/2 dragon fruit or mango

  • 1/2 banana

  • 50g strawberries

  • 25g organic and gluten-free oat flakes

  • 15g shaved coconut

  • 2 soup spoon peanut butter or tahini

  • Edible flowers ( optional)

  • Maple sirup or agave nectar to drizzle ( optional)


1. Blend the acai into a puree with the date and dairy-free milk. Once the texture is smooth, add the frozen ingredients with the cinnamon powder.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

3. Top with your favourite sliced fresh fruits, shaved coconuts, oat, grain of your choice, a generous spoon of peanut butter and drizzled with agave nectar or maple sirup.

*You can also freeze the milk into ice cubes the night before to make the acai puree even creamier.
